Iron Range is one of the most famous birding sites in Australia. During this 7-day birding tour, we should see all the New Guinea/Cape York specials including the Golden-shouldered Parrot and the stately Palm Cockatoo. From Cairns, we travel to Mt Carbine, Laura, a full day of birding in Lakefield National Park, then north to Archer River and Iron Range. All meals and flights are included on this birding tour.

This tour visits some of the most spectacular parts of North West Queensland. From Cairns we travel to Winton and the fantastic Bladensburg National Park. Then west to the ancient spinifex clad ranges of Mt Isa where we search for the Kalkadoon Grasswren. We continue to the spectacular sandstone gorges of Lawn Hill, and then north to Karumba where we take a boat tour on the Norman River.
